Clear Care Plus
Clear Care Plus is a hydrogen peroxide disinfection system for contact lenses that is suitable for GP (including scleral) lenses. It has more additives that “regular” Clear Care. User preferences vary between the two, but many scleral lens users prefer the Triple Action version for both comfort and vision.
Clear Care Plus is used to clean and rinse lenses, then disinfect them. It comes with a special “basket” style case that contains a neutralizing disc. You place your lenses in the cage, fill the case with solution, then place the cage in the case. Over a 6-hour period the lenses are disinfected and the the disc converts the solution (which is mostly hydrogen peroxide) to saline.
CAUTION: The Clear Care case is not suitable for use with larger or deeper scleral lenses. Consult your provider to ensure your lenses can be used with the Clear Care case.

Clear Care

Tangible Clean
Tangible Clean is a multi-purpose solution suitable for rinsing, cleaning and disinfecting scleral lenses. It is sold in 12oz bottles and 3.4oz travel-friendly bottles.
Tangible Clean is compatible with Tangible Hydra-PEG coated lenses.
Boston Simplus
Boston Simplus is a popular multi-purpose solution for cleaning, rinsing, disinfection and condition of GP lenses including sclerals. It is sold in a 3.5oz bottle.
Unique pH
Unique pH is a multi-purpose solution suitable for rinsing, cleaning, conditioning and disinfection of GP lenses. It is quite popular particularly with people who are sensitive to other contact lens solutions.
Unique pH is sold in 4oz bottles and 2.5oz bottles. The 2.5oz bottles are popular for domestic ravel as they are TSA-compliant.
Unique pH is compatible with Hydra-PEG coated lenses.
Miraflow Extra Strength Daily Cleaner
Miraflow was originally a CibaVision product, but was discontinued many years ago. An eye care provider acquired it and has been making it under a new label since then. It is is one of the very few remaining alcohol-based contact lens cleaners on the market. These types of cleaners are popular with people prone to heavy depositing on their lenses, but they tend to always be in short supply.
Miraflow is a “red cap” solution, meaning it must be completely rinsed off the lenses before applying them for safety reasons.
Sereine Extra Strength Daily Cleaner
Sereine Extra Strength Daily Clear is one of the very few remaining alcohol-based contact lens cleaners on the market. These types of cleaners are popular with people prone to heavy depositing on their lenses, but they tend to always be in short supply.
Sereine is a “red cap” solution, meaning it must be completely rinsed off the lenses before applying them for safety reasons.
Progent
Menicon PROGENT is a highly effective deposit and protein remover suitable for gas permeable lenses, including sclerals. It is popular for people with chronic stubborn deposits on their lenses.
To use Progent with scleral lenses, you need to separately purchase a special basket style case (Progent Large Diameter Case) . This case cannot be used for disinfection with Clear Care because it is not vented.
