2. STERILITY NOT GUARANTEED. While this product claims to be sterile, the manufacturer of this product is completely unknown and not inspected by the FDA.

3. NOT REGISTERED WITH FDA: Lifvean saline does not have a 510k device registration with the FDA, a requirement for all sterile contact lens solutions.

4. MULTI-DOSE BOTTLE: This solution is sold in a multi-dose conventional screw-top bottle, which is not an acceptable packaging choice for preservative-free ophthalmic solutions.
