Tangible Boost
Tangible Boost is a prescription-only, monthly treatment to restore the Tangible Hydra-PEG coating, and maintain the wettability of Tangible Hydra-PEG coated lenses.
Unique pH
Unique pH is a multi-purpose solution suitable for rinsing, cleaning, conditioning and disinfection of GP lenses. It is quite popular particularly with people who are sensitive to other contact lens solutions.
Unique pH is sold in 4oz bottles and 2.5oz bottles. The 2.5oz bottles are popular for domestic ravel as they are TSA-compliant.
Unique pH is compatible with Hydra-PEG coated lenses.
Lacripure
Lacripure is an unbuffered preservative-free saline (0.9% sodium chloride solution) packaged in 5mL vials. It comes in a box of 98 vials.
For people who need only a small amount of saline per session, Lacripure can last up to 3 months.
As an unbuffered saline, Lacripure is slightly acidic. However, according to some sources, its pH may be about 6.5, which is significantly higher than other unbuffered saline solutions.

The See Green Plunger Stand is a compact, contoured base for use with an application plunger. Plunger stands are very helpful for scleral lens users who need both hands for their lid spread or who have hand tremors.
Please note that there are two versions of the stand, one of which has a slot for use with the See Green Inserter (the light).
S5 Mini
The S5 Mini inserter is a 5.5” high lighted plunger stand whose base suctions to a counter top for stabilization.
The S5 offers advantages for those concerned about the stability of their scleral lens application stand or who have to stoop too far for other stands. According to Amazon, personal coaching is included with the purchase.

See Green Scleral Lens Inserter
The See Green Scleral Lens Inserter provides a small powered green light which is inserter into a specially adapted application plunger. This light helps guide lens positioning during lens application.
Some people use the See Green light, some use the See Green stand, and some use both.
Progent
Menicon PROGENT is a highly effective deposit and protein remover suitable for gas permeable lenses, including sclerals. It is popular for people with chronic stubborn deposits on their lenses.
To use Progent with scleral lenses, you need to separately purchase a special basket style case (Progent Large Diameter Case) . This case cannot be used for disinfection with Clear Care because it is not vented.
S5 Inserter
The S5 inserter is a lighted plunger stand on a telescoping base that suctions to a counter top for stabilization.
The S5 is by far the tallest stand on the market and may be particularly helpful for taller individuals. According to Amazon, personal coaching is included with the purchase.

PROSE case
The PROSE case is a specialty case from BostonSight designed for PROSE device disinfection using hydrogen peroxide systems (Clear Care). It is very large and requires approximately 1.5oz (44mL) of Clear Care or hydrogen peroxide per use.
This case requires a catalyst disc, which is not included and cannot be purchased separately. To obtain a catalyst disc, you need to purchase Clear Care, remove the disc from the Clear Care case and place it in the PROSE case. This is an OFF LABEL use of Clear Care, so consult your provider.
This case is suitable for lenses from 16mm to 22mm diameter and is not suitable for corneal RGPs or soft lenses. The basket diameter is approximately 25mm. If your lenses are larger than 22mm, please ask your provider for guidance.
Do not use Progent cleaner with this case.
Progent large diameter lens case
The Progent case is a Menicon brand “basket”-style specialty case for using Progent cleaning solution with scleral lenses.
The Progent case accommodates lenses between 11mm and 23mm diameter.
As a matter of safety, this case should never be used with hydrogen peroxide cleaning systems (Clear Care). H2O2 requires a vented case.
Purilens Plus Saline
Purilens Plus is a pH balanced preservative-free saline sold in 4oz or 2oz bottles. It is buffered, i.e. it has additives to maintain a pH similar to the eye, and has the same ingredients as ScleralFil.
Purilens is popular scleral lens users who need a lot of saline each day, either because they are new, or because they need extra saline for multiple lens insertion attempts, or because they remove, clean and re-apply their lenses during the day.
Unlike most salines sold for scleral lenses, Purilens is packaged in a multi-dose bottle rather than a single-use vial. Due to the lack of preservative, these bottles can become contaminated. Be very careful to avoid touching the tip of the bottle to your lenses, eyes, or any surface.
According to the manufacturer’s labeling, the bottles must be discarded within 14 days. You can use Purilens for rinsing lenses for the full 14 days. However, we recommend consulting your provider about whether they feel it is acceptable to use Purilens for filling your scleral lenses for the entire 14 days. Many providers have a shorter recommendation due to the potential for contamination after opening the bottle. For example, the PROSE Use and Care Guide from BostonSight instructs patients to use Purilens for filling no longer than 48 hours after opening the bottle.
Some providers recommend refrigerating this product.
The Purilens caps are the “puncture” type: you remove the cap, remove a white plastic ring, then replace the cap and screw it in fully to puncture the sealed bottle top.
Scleralfil
Scleralfil is a preservative-free saline packaged in 10mL vials and sold in a box of 30 vials.
It is a buffered saline, that is, it has additives which stabilize the pH at a level similar to the eye.
Scleralfil vials are exceptionally user-friendly as they are easy to open and designed to stand up on their own.
Tangible Fill
Tangible Fill is a preservative-free unbuffered saline (0.9% sodium chloride solution). It is packaged in 5mL vials and sold in a box of 60 vials.
As an unbuffered saline, Tangible Fill (which is identical to VibrantVue) is somewhat acidic.
VibrantVue
VibrantVue is a preservative-free unbuffered saline (0.9% sodium chloride solution). It is packaged in 5mL vials and sold in a box of 100 vials. It has a low pH (between 5.1 and 5.6) according to the packaging. The vial type is similar to inhalation solutions.
“Red cap” extra strength cleaners
Lobob was unfortunately discontinued in 2019, and there are currently no comparable products on the market from reputable manufacturers whose facility inspection results are publicly available.
