The DMV 45 is an alternative removal plunger which is helpful as a way to attach a plunger without placing your hand immediately in front of your eye as needed with a standard removal plunger (DMV Ultra). This can be particularly useful in cases of low vision or just one seeing eye.

The DMV 45 is shorter than the DMV Ultra, which for some people makes it more difficult to use. One suggested “hack” is to place a piece of plastic straw over the handle end.

Careful: DMV cases are airtight. Don’t use this case for storage unless your plunger is completely dry.

The DMV Ultra Remover is the most common way to remove a scleral lens. See Scleral Lens Removal Guide for details on use.
